Immediately following the EnvEuro Introduction Days in Copenhagen there will be one introduction day to the EME course. Check the dates for introduction days here.

Environmental Management in Europe is an interdisciplinary 15 ECTS online MSc course offered by the Faculty of Sciences, University of Copenhagen, with contributions from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna, the University of Hohenheim and the European Environment Agency.

The aim of the course is to provide a solid understanding of how environmental management in Europe is applied at different scales, from the EU level to the national, regional and local levels. Focus is on environmental management of soil, water, air and biodiversity. Environmental policy in EU is used as an example of contemporary environmental management and actual environmental policy initiatives are used to demonstrate how different principles are used and implemented in the member states.

Teaching is based on 15 E-learning modules (E-modules) with weekly deadlines.

Please note that you must participate in the EME course directly after the completion of the introduction days, even if it is still summer holiday at your Home university. Click here For more information about the EME course.
